Meet Jason Mundy

Jason Mundy is an executive and business coach and fractional CMO with three decades of experience in B2B marketing leadership. He has carved out a distinguished career spanning high-growth software startups to Fortune 100 technology enterprises, including renowned organizations such as EMC and Dell Technologies. His journey is marked by his exceptional ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams, and his strategic insight and leadership skills have consistently driven significant revenue growth, market share, and brand awareness.

Jason’s entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on experience in corporate America provide a solid foundation for helping clients navigate their paths to success. He leverages world-class methodologies to offer tailored solutions that empower business leaders to achieve their highest potential.

Jason holds an MBA with a concentration in General Management and Marketing from Boston University Questrom School of Business and a BS in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

What is a fractional CMO and why should I hire one?

A fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) brings executive-level marketing leadership to your business without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. As a fractional CMO, I help businesses clarify their marketing strategy, align it with their business goals, and execute with confidence—often building internal capabilities along the way. Our first conversation is all about clarity—on your goals, your challenges, and what success looks like for you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and share how I might be able to help. There’s no hard sell—just a clear and honest conversation about whether we’re a good fit.

Do you offer both coaching and consulting/ fractional marketing services?

Yes. Depending on your needs, we may lean more into coaching (focused on leadership, mindset, and decision-making) or consulting (focused on strategy, marketing, and execution). Often, my clients benefit from a hybrid approach that blends both—because running a business requires both clarity and action.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

For my coaching clients – no. I work on a month-to-month basis usually anywhere from 6 to 12 month or indefinitely depending on the need and scope. If at any time we may pause our work together and resume in the future when the time is right. For my fractional CMO services every contract is custom based on the unique needs of my clients and scope of the engagement. I offer fixed-scope project work, time and materials or retainer services.

What is your pricing and how do you structure it?

Pricing is based on the needs of my clients, scope of the engagement and what stage they are at in their journey. I offer customized and highly personalized coaching programs as well as a number of packaged and fixed scope programs. Fractional CMO services are priced based on the scope of the engagement and if my clients need fixed-scope project work, time and materials or retainer services.
